THE VERY BEST QUOTES FROM ALL THE VERY BEST ENVIRONMENT BOOKS
I have always found that the best information regarding the environment and how we affect it comes buried deep within books. If you have the time, this list of books should be prioritised over your weekly shopping list. However; we don't all have time, or a place to sit down and focus on let's be honest enriching science books that most of the percent of the time go over our heads... But, often it's the one liners from these books that we read precariously that really stick around, rather than the message of the entire novel. Small quotes that we can use in our day to day life. And for that reason I have put a collection of ( a very bias ) list of some of my favourites.

"Do not go where the path may lead. Instead, go where there is no path and leave a trail"
Ralph Waldo Emerson

"To understand evolution involves interests so disparate that it is impossible to embrace them all. That is the joy- and the tragedy- of modern science."
Steve Jones

"Marine organisms do not care about international boundaries; they move where they will."
" The world's finest wilderness lies beneath the waves."
Paul Snelgrove

"Immeasurably superior to man's feeble efforts, as the works of nature are to those of art."
Charles Darwin

"We are replacing the wild with the tame."
Sir David Attenborough

"To all of you who choose to look the other way every day because you seem more frightened of the changes that can prevent catastrophic climate change than the catastrophic climate change itself. Your silence is worst of all."
